Party and Co. Policies and Terms
This page outlines the policies and terms that govern the use of Party and Co. services, website, and client engagements. These guidelines are designed to ensure transparency, protect both parties, and set clear expectations for bookings, payments, cancellations, and service standards. Serving the GTA and York Region.
Service Policies & Client Guidelines
At Party and Co. Event Styling, we believe great celebrations begin with clear communication. The following policies are designed to ensure a smooth, fair, and enjoyable experience for every client.
1. Consultation & Booking Process
Party and Co. offers a complimentary consultation to discuss your vision, event details, and styling needs. Following this, we prepare a custom quotation and present a service contract outlining the agreed scope of work.
Your event date is secured once the contract is signed and the required deposit is received.
2. Payment Policy

A 25% non-refundable retainer fee is required at the time of booking to reserve your event date and to cover time, planning, prep, and administration work.

A 50% non-refundable deposit of the balance is required for Materials 45 days before the event.

A $250 security deposit is required to cover potential loss or damage to rental items and décor.

The remaining balance is due 5 business days before the event date.
Accepted payment methods:
e-Transfer, Cash, Certified Cheque, Money Order, or Bank Draft.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before the event.

Deposits/retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made at least 30 days in advance.

Events affected by extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances will be handled in accordance with our Weather & Force Majeure Policy — outdoor events affected by weather require alternative venue, non-refundable.
4. Design & Custom Work
All styling, balloon installations, custom décor, and personalized items are considered custom work and are final sale once approved.
Design changes may be requested up to 30 days before the event and may be subject to additional fees.
5. Setup, Delivery & Breakdown

Clients are responsible for ensuring venue access during the scheduled setup window of agreed upon time frame.

Setup and breakdown services are included as outlined in your contract.

Late access or delays may result in additional fees.
6. Rentals, Loss & Damages
Clients are responsible for all rented items from the time of setup until breakdown or pickup.

Normal wear is expected.

Lost, stolen, or damaged items beyond normal use will be charged at replacement cost / repair cost — at market price and deducted from the security deposit.
7. Balloon & Outdoor Installations
Balloon décor is affected by heat, cold, wind, rain, and direct sunlight.
Party and Co. cannot guarantee longevity for outdoor or weather-exposed installations. No refunds are provided for balloon conditions impacted by environmental factors.
8. Photography & Marketing Use
Party and Co. may photograph or video events for portfolio, website, and social media use.
Clients may opt out by submitting a written request at least 30 days before the event.
9. Liability & Safety
Party and Co. is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages caused by guest behavior, venue conditions, or misuse of décor and rentals.
Children must be supervised at all times, especially around balloons and styled installations.
10. Communication Policy
We are available during business hours Mon-Sat 9am-7pm and respond to inquiries within 24 hours / 6 business days.
